Lazlo is looking for a Senior Developer with deep experience working in Microsoft technologies, .NET, C#, and Azure. In this position, you will be a critical member of a small Agile development team creating new and innovative solutions for the Lottery and Gaming industry. These solutions are built to deliver high performance services at a massively large scale. This is an extremely collaborative team, and your experience, skill and ideas will have a direct and immediate impact on our products. This position requires the candidate to be in the office 5 days a week.

How You Will Help

• Hands-on code contribution and delivery
• Working with the product and design teams to understand end-user requirements and user stories, then translating that into an effective technical approach
• Developing and testing your code, leveraging a sprint based, Agile methodology
• Leveraging AI-assisted tools to accelerate development, improve code quality, and explore new problem-solving approaches
• Working closely with QA members on the team to ensure the code you develop meets acceptance criteria, including doing rework where necessary
• Participating in brainstorming sessions and having the chance to contribute innovative and original ideas to our technology and products

What We Want

• 8+ years’ experience in software development
• 5+ years’ experience in the development of applications utilizing the Microsoft Stack (.NET/C#/WebAPI)
• 3+ years’ experience in developing Microsoft Azure PaaS and SaaS solutions
• Excellent C# skills and an in-depth knowledge of .NET

• Experience developing applications on Azure using services, like App Service, Service Fabric, Azure Functions, Notification Hubs, Event Hubs, Cosmos DB, Application Insights, Databricks, etc.
• Experience integrating AI into daily development workflows - using modern AI coding assistants and prompt-driven problem solving where appropriate
• Experience building web applications with Blazor is a plus
• Experience or demonstrable knowledge of Scrum, and/or Kanban

Education

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent education/experience with 5 to 10 years experience.
